You spend so much time focused on your students. I want to focus on you. This restorative retreat takes place on Wednesday, August 6th at the Toronto Island Oasis: an open-air holistic retreat centre nestled away on Toronto Island. This retreat is open to current and retired teachers.
At this one day retreat you can expect to:
Meet me at the Jack Layton ferry terminal and be escorted over to the Island
Enjoy nutritionist-designed and chef-prepared morning snack and lunch
Move and relax with 2 gentle yoga sessions
Take time for personal reflection
Learn practical somatic techniques to use in the classroom when stress levels rise
Connect meaningfully with fellow teachers in a supportive space
Enjoy free time on the island after we close our time together
The financials:
Total cost $300 includes all activities, food, and your ferry ticket to the island
10% off before July 15
An insurance receipt for group therapy will be provided for part of the cost
